Nearby is this helmet for a decent price. I've never heard of star racing. The only thing making me wonder is that there's no DOT certification sticker that I can see on it. The seller assures me the tag still on it says they only sell certified equipment.
So my question is what do you all think? Is it worth buying as a backup ans passenger helmet?

edit... despite many versions of words .. google gave me little... BELL 'Star' Racing helmets... but thats not the tag ....

i was looking at the pics in the link.... the straps looked odd for a motorbike helmet... but familiar somehow... and the shape of the dome ...

looks a lot like a Jockeys training helmet?....

maybe legit..... but .....

Yea I decided against it. I found a few other good deals in the area that are dot approved. I need a back up god forbid something happens or if I have a passenger. Least I know I wasn't alone in my thoughts haha. And weed do I even wanna ask about the story behind that helmet??? Lol
