Seems 'we' have decided to do a cruise to Aotearoa over Xmas ...

'we' - that sounds an awful lot like 'volunteering'..

Last summer was great over Christmas - if you go up north (avoid since thats where all the Aucklanders go) - you can expect 25-30 degree days.  Further south / South Island you get about 20-25 inland.  Usually we get a bit of wind at the start of December, then it all settles down and the BBQ gets rolled out for the next month or two.

You doing a cruise-cruise? like big boat cruise? seem to get a lot of massive cruise liners here a lot over summer.

Anyone got a photo they want to put up? Otherwise I will have to find something a bit obscure.

Yeah - we sort of get that being in the southern hemisphere and all.. some parts of the States (east coast) and Canada felt the same when I was there in spring and summer.  We don't tend to get covered in as much snow during winter though..

Heres a new pic - item is the clear thing, about 2 inches long.

much more mundane I am afraid.  It serves the same purpose as another item already posted on this thread.. (not by me)

better than using a screwdriver.. I am one of those sad, sad, very sad people that owns a genuine Krone IDC punch down tool which cost waaaaaay too much...

Heres something I find exceptionally useful - currently in its folded away form.

Is it a line fault tester?
