Not sure how they are doing it, but know I get kinda annoyed with wing mirrors some days.  If anyone has actually tried one of these things out, please let me know.  I see they are approved for the UK and going for DOT approval in the US,

Yeah, I've been looking at these a LONG time... actually going to pull the trigger on the modular version here pretty soon.  My future father-in-law has one of the MSX1s and swears by it.  Definately a quality helmet besides the rear view system, anyway.

The rear view system is a series of polycarbonate mirrors, kind of like a periscope.

The modular FSX1 is supposedly quite a bit lighter than the regular full face MSX1, but I don't know for true certainty that it is so... kind of goes against the general scheme of helmet weights, but I have found that on a couple sites/reviews.

They are already DOT approved, and Revzilla carries them.. In fact, they just realeased their video review on the modular a couple days ago.
