19 Y.O. 3rd year Pre-Med student...so my GS500 is my outlet to get away from organic chemical synthesis problems and the like...
Second season riding and I finally pulled my dad into the sport, although he's not a twinner. Sometimes I get bored riding alone and would sure like to meet other twinners in the nearby community.

Coming out of central Jersey!

Oh and if anyone knows some nice roads in the area please let me know!

Electrojake is your man he doesn't have a GS but he hangs round in the last poster wins thread mainly
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

There are 3 EJ's?? ... Is he triplets? ... Or just has 'friends in his head' ...  :cookoo: .. Hiya EJ!! :kiss3:

adidasguy

Not 3 EJ's - 3 gstwins members is what I mean.
Last week I delivered parts to one and helped fix another member's bike in Coney Island (rode the roller coaster, too!)
and of course, shopped for adidas in Manhattan.

Yep I'm up in Newark, but my bike is still in pieces. Getting closer to a running bike though, thanks to adidas :thumb:

SW Motec are the nicest for full bars that you can buy.
For sliders, R&G Racing makes nice ones.
I have R&G on all my bikes.
BrianRC has SW Motech (see build thread "Restoration of Quin"). Nortwest rider bought Trey from me and it had them, too. There are a couple others with them. I saw one bike were they really got ground down from a fast low side and saved the engine.

Twisted throttle may have them or google them.

I guess the proper phrase would be my old GS500 "was" perfect.
On a more positive note... I doubt there is much that could go wrong with a GS500 that I couldn't fix. It's just a matter of me having the free time to do the actual repair.

So lynx124,
Whatever you did... we shall un-do, and Central Jersey shall once again hear the roar of your pipes!

Hey guys, South Jersey here. I've been in your shoes Lynx, was at Rider for 2 years pre med. Could have used a bike back then cuz my truck then had crap gas mileage haha.

Awesome! How south is south tho? Haha and I'm from New Brunswick. Right by Rutgers. You know of any good roads down by you? Like long windy ones not I-95 parkway stuff lol

I'm in Washington Township, (the one RIGHT next to Rowan) and we've got a few twisty roads not to long though. I like back roads, which is also my downfall, learned my lesson 2 weeks ago on a back road I didn't know well enough. Short story turned out to be a quarry road with lots of sand and gravel which led to my wipeout... Wasn't to bad, mostly scratches down left side but dented my tank up on right side. I walked away with a bruised hip which is almost healed up.

Oh crap dude, I'm glad you're OK tho! I've been trying to find a group of riders around NJ with similar interests who just wanna have fun, you know? found one group and went with a ride with them once and im NEVER gonna do it again. Most irresponsible riders Ive ever seen. I mean I'm all for twisting the throttle but doing stupid shaZam! isn't my game lol. I get that outta my system on dirt bikes lol

I've yet to ride with anyone yet, only been on the bike for a month and a half. I've got a buddy that lives in Highstown so next time I go up there I'll let you know. But I definitely don't like to mess around at all yet, I don't mind getting passed on the highway by cars going 85 yet.
