Hey all, I'm a new owner/rider and I just got my GS tonight!  Ran over to insure it and was cruising earlier tonight!  What a great bike.  Mine is a '98 with 3640 Kms (2275 Miles) - not a scratch on it.  Here's a pic.

Kinda crappy pic but I was in too much of a hurry to go riding.

Welcome!  And congratulations on your new wheels.  I'm sure you'll get no end of pleasure out of 'em.

Stay safe, and enjoy!

Thanks!  I really haven't been looking very long for this bike but kinda stumbled on it.  I'm taking tomorrow afternoon off of work to go riding.  Supposed to be great weather tomorrow (I hope).

hey...km's....Shaw....are you in BC ? if so where ?
I'm in Victoria. I'd love to meet another GS'er, I've seen two other's, or it could be the same bike seen twice ! Talked to one guy who got off one, he was around my age (22ish) and said it was his brother's and he was just taking it for a boot, so i told him to tell his brother to get on this board. (so if you're in Victoria BC let me know...this goes out to everyone reading this, not just BRB96Z34)

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
