mmm yeah .. i likes those mirrors also!! ... been thinking about using something like that on my F model ... to line up on 'the blind spot' part of road that the fairing mirrors dont quite cover...

was going to put some small 2" convex on the main mirrors .. but they do cover up a bit much of what i consider the good viewable areas ..

wont stop doing my head checks of course... that would be silly ... just after a bit better situational awareness view in general..

funny thing... since i started riding the road bike a few years ago.... even in the car now.. i do a lot more headchecks automatically .. before it was occasionally ..  :thumb:

:star: Never stop doing head checks!  :thumb:

Installed my new .95 Sonic Springs into my adjustable forks (fork oil was black and very dirty so probably never changed) and my K&N Lunchbox filter.
Katana 600 Shock is also installed.
Bike sounds great but I am yet to ride it as I have been too busy :( Maybe tomorrow Ill give it a go :dunno_black:

i f%&ked up and ruined the rubber gasket on my gas cap, but I was looking for an excuse anyway so I bought a new CNC aluminum keyless cap.
Bike: 1990 GS500E (Vance & Hines full system, K&N Lunchbox, BM Clubmaster bars, Katana rear shock, 0.90 Sonic Springs), 2000 ZRX1100 (Kerker slip-on)

Worked on the EX500.
Brian came over and installed a bad ass horn on his bike (Audry formerly known as Quin).
Jacob came over. Oil change. Forks upgraded. To our surprise he is the 2nd bike I have seen now in Seattle with progressive springs but no spacers for preload! We put in his Sonics anyway and the progressives are in  the Bike Cave for someone else. also he replaced the clutch push rod seal.
Jacob's bike is looking really good.

Today: oil and filter change, chain tensioned, list made of everything else I want to do or need...

Previously: installed .80 Sonic springs with fork brace (thanks to Chuck81); installed R6 shock (thanks to Cods and everyone else on the forum with suggestions, hints and ideas); clutch cover from Chuck81; new RH handlebar (from OrTahor) and a replacement screen (the old one was faded and yellowed with age and sunlight exposure).

Tomorrow: ride in the hills if the weather is good (fingers crossed)

:D ... Not fair though!... You get to lie in AND browse the forum!? ... I'd have to 'run away from home' to be able to do that ....  :icon_lol:

But to try keep on topic... Lubed chain, checked oil, pumped tyres, fresh fuel ... Nice 2 hour cruisy ride around the mountains with nary a hiccup! ..

Just rain about 10 min before home ... Still loved it!

You can always go hide in the bathroom..... Lol

I haven't done anything recently. Hope to do some riding this week as it has been raining off and on for the last several days due to that hurricane/tropical storm that went through here.

I did however buy a new Teknic Supervent mesh and a new Teknic Mercury leather jacket

My used Suzuki mesh and Teknic leather will be for sale

I picked one up on CL last week.  Got one for my fiance too (the female version of course).  It was a 2-4-1 deal.  Awesome breathability on the supervent mesh.  Great jacket for the price, and looks awesome too.  Noticed they were on clearance on revzilla, and had em in my wish list forever, but they were out of our sizes.  Just happen to google them, and they popped up on local CL in the sizes we were looking for.. talk about luck!  I got the silver/white and my fiance got the white/pink.  Which color did you get?

Just adopted an '06 after a (long story short) many moon hiatus of NOT having one. I had an '82 GS450S in '85 and have gone through dozens of bikes since then looking for right balance between fuel mileage and comfort... I'm BACK to the Suzuki GS! LOVE IT!!!

Today, removed the sun bleached decals on either side of the seat and buffed the sticky off. Looks like a new bike!  :thumb:
