the seal behind the ignition rotor is leaking oil. was not to bad at first but now its leaking a lot.

how hard is it to replace that seal?

Not hard at all.
Ordering the gasket is the hardest/longest part.

Once you get it, if you don't want to have to drain the oil, carefully lean the bike over to the left against something at about a 45 degree angle.
Remove the timing rotor cover.
Remove all the bolts around the right side cover, including the one inside the rotor compartment.
Remove side cover.
Clean all the oil and old gasket off the mating surfaces.
Place new gasket on the engine cases around the pins.
Replace side cover.
Replace all the bolts in a criss cross pattern.
Tighten down and replace rotor cover.

Thats it!

i have the same problam at the moment and a leaky base gasket lol pain in the arse really, i just found out after i fixed my clutch that it was where my right side oil leak was so now i have to get 1 more new gasket and oil seal.
