Some part of a SONAR/sound collector or something from a radar system?
Some kind of wave collector/detector.
Why are you looking here?

Some kind of wave collector/detector.

It is - good old fashioned waveguide (prior to SA / PA type).

Your turn

No shaZam!! I just made a wild guess on that one. Looked like something that was used to "gather something". What the heck is a waveguide used for?

This one was for microwave radio frequencies - although it is unsual in shape - most are either a tube or box section shape. the LNB at the narrowest part should have been the giveaway

Thought it would be obscure enough.. but a good guess  :thumb:

Yup. it's a cap gun. Good guess, you're up. Janx guessed it right away (he pm'd me) but he wanted to see if anyone else could figure it out. He also wanted to pass to whoever got it next.

I didn't see it at first, but all of a sudden the clouds cleared and my vision focused
