Hey guys,

Ive been looking at getting a sheep skin seat cover for my 2009 gs500f-my ass goes numb driving to and from work each day (North Lakes-Sunshine coast(return)).

Couple questions-how much of a difference do they make comfort wise, do you make them or purchase them, cost, and just overall opinions.

Cheers,
Alex

Ring a few auto trimmers and find out how much a recover would cost. Though that run from
North lakes to sunny coast is 90% highway and what a 45-60 min run. Surely it's not that hard on the backside?

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

yeah, she's all highway about 60-80min depending on time.
maybe i just need a tablespoon of cement eh?

Are you shifting around in the seat every 10 minutes or so to put pressure in slightly different areas?

Be aware, this is not very wise advise!

I've been using a sheepskin cover on my seat for about a year now. It certainly improves the length of time you can spend before getting too uncomfortable. I got mine from The Good Wool Store in Berry (NSW). Not cheap but definitely worth it IMHO and they post anywhere. They have patterns for most bikes.

Janx, I went and visited them in Berry when I ordered mine. They didn't have one in stock, they make to order. You could order one and ride over to pick it up, thus saving the postage. The store is down the Southern end of Berry's main drag, near the road to Kangaroo Valley.
