Hey folks,

Just picked up an 04 GS500F and doing some cleaning and making sure everything is ok and noticed two bolts missing on rear fender. Another know what what spec these are. Please see picture attached, the two I'm pointing to. Thx guys.

The most common bolt size on a GS500 is M6 x 1.0 threads.
If you have an assortment, you can take care of most things.

Interesting picture. Thank you. Tat is xactly the same place I have to take out number plate bolts to get off my NSW registration holder. Do not yet have proper spanner but will go to Autocheap automobile parts shop and buy some small spanner soon. You need to have so many spanners when working on your own car or your own motorcycle. I have small tool bag with spanners and screwdriver and special tool to make back shock hard or softer. But I do not use the tools in the bag because I like to keep everything pristine nice on my motorcycle for when I sell it when I go home to KL.

Speaking of bolts, the hole for one of the bolts that holds the rear fairing on is stripped! Previous owner must have tightened it to much, or maybe the shop did it.
