tricky

You've gone down a similar path as me with the mods. The only real differences I see is my clipons attach to the fork tubes themselves, it is a pretty aggressive position.

14/41 gearing is insane! You must have lost a lot of top end. I have a 15t front sprocket, stock rear, and I am in mid 6th gear for highway speeds

I went for steel braided brake lines, pirelli rubber, rejet, K&N lunchbox and all that too.

You really need 147.5 mains with K&N and pipe.
14/41 wont cost you much in terms of top speed. Remember this bike reaches top speed in 5th ... and if you gear it taller I believe it gets to that same speed in 4th.
Cool.

yea, that was a mistake, they are 147.5. 14/41 was fun, but my gas mileage was laughable. I'm at 15/41 now.

edit: and top speed was about 110 indicated

Great, as I read, I was going to post that they are nearly identical performance mods that I made over the years, except for the sprocket changes. I would not go down that road. Then I see you already "fixed" it.
I think the only other difference is I don't have clipons, and my rear shock is a Katana.

OH! I got Rizoma (Italian) mirrors and turn signals. The highest quality I have ever seen. They are fantastic! Look them up if you want smaller metal, sturdy mirrors that are still very usable.

This is the one that I bought about 5 years ago, they still make it. Solid and superb quality!
