Hello, all. I would just like to take the time to commemorate these two individuals for all of their amazing performances, and offer my condolences for the the tragedy that occurred yesterday. As many of you may have seen on the news, their biplane went down during a performance at around 1:00 PM yesterday. Neither of them survived the accident.

I was, unfortunately, at the Vectren Air Show when their plane went down. I was fortunate enough to not have to witness the event, as I was across the lot. However, there was a darkness that seemed to fill the air around that time as the show fell silent and the audience stared in awe and horror.

I wish their families the best, given the circumstances, and hope that they may find solace in the fact that the two died doing what they loved to do. May they forever be remembered as the wonderful performers that they were.

Damn
Always enjoyed airshows and knew events such as this were always within the realm of possibility. May they both rest in peace

That's terrible. I feel for their friends and family.

I know it's a cliche, but at least they died doing what they loved.

john

Yes they did die doing what they loved.  They also knew the risks.
