I noticed the center stand getting stiff to swing up, so I lubed it, but today it's even worse. WTH!!,

Note that I used Wurth-HHS, which works wonders on chain, but didn't work on the center stand. I since used WD40 and seems to be loosened up.

Mine has stuck down a few times after splashing thru the winter salt water.  Just drowned it with WD-40 and it freed up every time.
407,400 miles in 30 years for 13,580 miles/year average.  Started riding 7/21/84 and hung up helmet 8/31/14.

WD-40 does the job for mine too..

You could try getting some "dry-lube" like this:

It coats the part and dries up so you don't have to worry about it attracting dirt or getting washed off easily.  I've used similar products on bicycle chains with high success.

Or, just hit it with regular ol' WD-40 once a month or after riding through adverse conditions.
