Ok avatar is the pic under name. every board im part of uses this. i thought the d&d thing too lol. ANYHOO, max size for the avatar is 100x100 pixels. usually in .jpg or .png hosted remotely like photobucket.

Site also needs correct moderation. Many boring posts from same group of all-time posters. IMHO.

Alternatively, you can register at adidasguy's hosted site gs500.net (IIRC) to host your pics there (instead of Photobucket or the like). This forum site is pretty barebones compared to some others, but we make do.

Relatively low volume of sales for the GS500 as opposed to the gixxer or similar means that there are fewer people who are willing to learn and share what they've learned. The mods here generally do pretty well, though there's not many times that there's a reason to moderate a thread due to the usually easy-going nature of the members here. Ok.  I get that Avatar is a picture...and it's not the size.  the only space that I can find doesn't want a jpeg.... it wants a http:/site reference, which I've given it.  On more than one occasion.  However, to this day all I get is the box with the small "x" in it  I noticed that everyone who has posted here actually has some sore of photo.  (I'm Jealous)

Would someone please give me specific info on how I can get a photo uploaded here and join the cool kids.

Click on the facebook image you want, then right click on it and select copy URL then paste it where you want. Easy peasy. The link you copied for your image is not the correct one.
