Clutch cable adjustment - How much is too much?

Hi,

Been adjusting my clutch cable. Everything feels fantastic. Wheel spins slightly with the clutch pulled in but immediately stops when I touch my foot to it. No drag, no slip. I'm just worried that I've made the cable too tight in the center - I'm attaching a picture. Is this normal? I feel like everyone else makes the middle case adjustment screw a lot shorter (further in) to the case.

Thanks!

As long as the adjuster isn't going to pull out you are fine. Keep in mind clutch adjustment is dependent on so many things they can add up to quite a few threads on the screw. Cable length, cable stretch, lever play, clutch wear...they all add up to a thread or two on the screw, but just keep an eye on it. Mine is adjusted pretty far out as well, and I am thinking it's going to be time for a new cable here in a season or two. Clutch itself seems fine, and thats the key, and long as it engages nicely through all the gears you're good.

As long as u have a little free play at the lever(approx 4mm) you'll be fine.

Alright, just making sure there wasn't an obvious "hey, that's not right!" point for the clutch adjustment. Thanks!!
