My beloved GS is now gone. She found a good home in the hands of a nice guy. Farewell dear friend of almost 7 years.

Well, now I happened to find a pair of K&L carburetor repair kits, brand new sealed in OEM packaging. Those are high-quality rubber seals, made in Japan. Some kits I see come with a jet/needle. These kits do not include those. Just rubber seal/rings. One kit is exactly what you need to replace all seals and rings in one carb.

I will let them go for $15 each (i.e. $30 for the pair), shipped free to continental US.

I'm pretty sure these wont fit an 01. They will fit 89-2000.

I could use them.
The sets with the needle valve and seats go on ebay for $40 for both sets. I know because I was shopping for sets without the valves and seats.

The K&L needle valves and seats are junk anyway, so it's almost a benefit that they aren't included.  These o-rings are good though.  This set will fit '89-'00 (not 2001+). 

I could get the same o-rings and gaskets OEM through my local dealer for $34.  The needle valve and seat is the expensive part.  Therefore, I think asking $30 is a little steep for second hand aftermarket.  I think $25 shipped was a fair enough price.  Threatening to throw them in the garbage doesn't do anyone any good.

I sent him a note saying I would take them for $20 for the pair shipped but haven't heard back from him yet.
I wrote to him that I was concerned that the o-rings might be hard and not pliable so that's why I was offering less.
Old parts can be a risk when they can degrade. 
I bought new parts from Bike Bandit -- a HORRIBLE experience -- so I didn't need them for this carb rebuild, but I wouldn't mind having viable spares for the future.
Bike Bandit took FOREVER to ship, backordered a part and didn't tell me, which held the shipment up even more, and were almost impossible to reach by phone. Ultra long hold times.
I ordered a new rear tire last week and it STILL isn't here.
I ordered a front tire and two helmets from Competition Accessories and it all arrived by Monday.
Huge difference.
My next orders are going to be from Competition Accessories.

I'm not sure about for OEM parts, but rockymountainatvmc.com is a pleasure to deal with.  I have used ronayers.com for parts in the past, but I'm not a fan of their new site design for parts.  partzilla.com is great for Honda parts, but for Suzuki parts their prices on the fiches are all messed up and it doesn't inspire confidence.

Ive used ronayers as well in various gs' over a decade. also used gstwin classifieds too. whomever it concerns if you think his prices are too high, make an offer, if no go, then walk away. been ages since i had purchased rebuild kits so cannot say what they went for.

Kits arrived today, and after a little confusion, all is well.
