I got around to installing the rebuild kits for the carbs today, when I got this bike it was flooding out bad. (Fuel in crank). Well, after all that work I put the carbs back in and did the flout bowl test... With the petcock set to PRI it would just keep non stop flowing out of the tube during the test(on both sides of the carbs). I replaced the both flout needles and needle seats.

The only thing I can think it is that the diaphragm needles are worn? Could this be the cause? What else can cause this?

Floats and needles aere what stops gas from flowinfg into the carbs.
By first guess is the float needles are not installed so the little square loop is on the float tab.
Second is things were not pushed in where they belong.

Remove carbs. Test on your bench. Fuel supply should be no more than 1 foot above the carbs. Too high and gravity will force fuel through the needles no matter what. It is a GRAVITY fuel system so fuel source too high is a problem. (if you're using a test tank).

quite possible floats were installed upside down. not allowing them to function at all.

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to go over it again today. I will try and get something set up so I don't have to put the carburetors back on the bike to do the float test again.
