Holy carp!  :icon_rolleyes:
Could have been a bail out of that bridge!
Your indicator is on...

peteGS

Indeed! That's the most ridiculous give way sign I've seen for a long time... bridge is on the crest of the rise, and we're on the low side coming up... you can't see the other side of the bridge before you see the give way sign so there's no real warning if there's a car coming... my other mate on the GSXR750 stopped behind me no worries, gotta be a Honda thing...

I won't say yes but I won't say no either.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Pete.... that route encompasses the imfamous Bumpy Bong Rd. The road turns to shite after turning left at Legume. And I know it's hard to believe, but it gets even worse once you get on to Tooloom Rd at E. So my advice is..... make sure you do NOT need to do wees as you get to that road, otherwise you will have a hard time holding it.

The scenery along from E to F is pretty good. That's where I got this shot (yeah, we just had to do wees)....

But don't expect a pleasant ride. Your suspension will get a workout.

I won't be coming (I work Saturdays). But say hello to Amanda at the Urbenville Pub (The Crown)  :thumb:

Bugger you can't make it but I will get down your way some day, will have to make a it a Sunday  :thumb:

I'm sure Amanda will like some random stranger saying g'day to her by name... haha

A word with timing.... Rathdowney to Urbenville is roughly 45 minutes - if you get along at a good clip. Boonah to U'ville will take you over an hour

H - I... if you haven't ridden it before, this is what you are in for... starts at 2:48 or just after http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtLduPXFZeY - and if the rider leading has not done it before, the turn onto that section from Boonah Rathdowney Rd is Very easy to overshoot as it's a right hander less than 50 meters after crossing a bridge where the road dips into the bridge. Fantastic scenery on that section - as you can kinda see in the video.

U'ville pub doesn't do lunch until midday. There is fuel at the General Store across the road and a small servo in town - but W'bong now has a servo that stays open weekends so if you need fuel there are a few choices. W.bong to U'ville is bumpy, but cause it's only short you can handle it. Phone reception in U'ville is crap. Facing the pub, about 6 meters to the right of the building's edge in the middle of the footpath will get you reception with telstra, just.
