New owner of an '02 GS500 with 5k mi.  Fresh out of the MSF course with a new endorsement  and have put on < 100 mi so far.  Any riders in the Danbury, CT area that might be interested in showing a newb the ropes?  It seems like there must be some great rides here up along the Housatonic river?

Hey, I live a ways north from you (just south of Cape Ann, Massachusetts), but I think in the grand scheme of things it's not so far.

I don't have a GS anymore, but you made a great choice for your first bike! The GS500 was my first bike too and I'm sure you'll have a great time on yours.

I'm in Stamford if you ever come south. Enjoy your bike. I have ridden mine for about five years now. Total cost - less than some friends have spent on chrome.
