Wrenching.

Wrench to ride, ride to wrench, either way.

I wouldn't enjoy any of my 2 wheelers near as much if i had someone else doing my maintenance/modifications

+1 to this. Every bike I have owned has been torn down to the frame and rebuilt. Unlike Jack, I don't ride year round. Every winter I have a project lined up to keep me busy. I do try to keep at least one bike "ready to ride" for those unusually nice days though.

When you're out on a warm day and you descend into a vale (valley) and feel the temperature drop by 10-15 degrees.

Very true I have noticed smells as well. Go through an area pickup a fire, or flowers, or water, etc.

Its amazing what you miss enclosed in any other type of vehicle.

mentioning smells... what ISN'T good about riding is going past a pig or chicken farm downwind... on a hot summers day!  :-X  ;)

Cow manure, it's all about the cow manure......except for that liquid stuff they spray, that will make you hurl inside your helmet!

Riding is therapy at the cost of a really fuel efficient tank of gas. Aside from the economical reasons and practical reasons to ride, riding is fun and riding clears my mind of all stress or problems and depressions, even if it's temporary, when I'm riding, it's me my bike the road and the wind...so basically it's freedom from the world around you for a bit--that's what I like the most :D

everybody pretty much said it already,....great pics there too!  I gotta add splitting lanes here in Houston traffic.  For me, getting honked at for creeping by is another win check on the chalk board.

Its me, my machine, my music

Usually for me, it's just whatever ear worm song is playing in my head at the time, but otherwise this ^^.
It seems it has become necessary to qualify my posts:
I am/am not trying to start an argument. This post is/is not intended to be a personal attack. I am/am not merely attempting to present a different viewpoint.

Select the words that apply to you.

I dont get confused for the FOB (Fresh off the boat) Injun around work ...

One genius asked me ... if you have a car why do you still come by bike !!! ...
The progression in India is ...
You get a bicycle @ 7-8th grade.
You get a moped @ college. Bicycle goes to your brother/sister or gets sold.
You get a motorcycle @ your first job. Moped gets sold or hand me down.
You get a car when you get married/have kid etc ... motorcycle gets sold/hand me down.

He he ... stupid people ...

They also are under some dumb assumptions that you have kids "after" you get married ...

Cool.

Besides accelerating (which should get better once I get my carbs figured out!), it's not having to take the filthy G train (I live in NYC) to see friends who moved to South Brooklyn! In a few weeks, I'm hoping it'll be the smell of sea air out on the end of Long Island!   :thumb:
