Btw that's Seattle.  :thumb:
I took the 2 day basic riding course, got my endorsement, and bought a GS500F in the span of 4 days. :icon_mrgreen: Never rode a motor bike of any kind before that.
Got the bike off Craigslist for what I think is a fair $2500 with 12k miles in great condition.  Originally wanted a white color scheme, but the bargain seemed too good to pass.  Seller was nice enough to deliver it since I was too chicken to take it on the freeway. I've been taking it around neighborhoods and small streets, but still haven't taken her on the freeway yet. :dunno_black:

I also don't have my own gear yet.  I'm riding with my friend's gear until I can get some ideas on what I want.  Not really sure what's good or not.  If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.  :whisper:

Here's a list of mods that came with the bike:
-angel eye HID Projectors
-aftermarket windscreen, mirrors
-flush mount turn signals
-LED turn signal mirrors/tail lights
-grip puppies
-go cruise
-Vibranator
-luggage rack custom installed

We have pizza at the West Seattle Bike Cave when we get together for some wrenching.

What part of the emerald city are you in?

Do you know Backfire Moto? 3rd Wed. of the month. Just a HUGE gathering of bikes. Always fun and friendly people. It is tomorrow. Centered around 17th and Leary in Ballard. Some of us will be there - hanging around behind Hilliards Brewery. I plan to ride Junior - my restored 1992 GS500.
(Oh, it is OK to drive there in a "car".)
