So, I was trolling the interwebs looking at fork seal info, because I think my left one may be leaking (I'll have to take a peek at it tomorrow). I stumbled across this:
http://www.sealmate.net/forkseals.html - There's a video of it in use at the bottom of the page.

I mean, for $7, what's the worst that could happen? You need to replace a leaking fork seal. You were going to do that anyway lol.

What do you guys think?

Their example - maybe needs it.
Our forks have dust covers over the seals. That keeps crud out.
Forks leak for 2 reasons (one or both)
1. Worn out fork seals
2. Worn out upper fork bushings that let the tube wobble around and oil leaks out as it wiggles.

I haven't encountered our seals leaking due to dirt.
