Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Yeah, when torquing, inch pounds and foot pounds are two different things.

mmm, the progression of a repair:

1 overtorque, snap
2 ask for advice
3 happy nongineers suggest easyouts
4 easyout stuck in case
5 drills burned and broken in case along with very stuck easy out
6 "new" ideas from nongineers
7 burn marks and missed hammer blows
8 "newer" ideas from nongineers uncles' memory
9 tools everywhere, swear words hang like fog
10 part taken to machine shop, $50 (or less) and a little ribbing from an old timer and its better than new.

I'm REALLY hoping the Grab-it I bought doesn't snap. Considering what it's rated for I seriously would doubt that would happen. These case bolts seem to be made of cheese.

Cheese or peanut butter... Whichever was cheaper that day. O0

Just an update -

Took off the sprocket cover today (was changing the chain and sprocket anyway). Enough bolt was exposed to get it with pliers. Hit it with a ton of PB and worked it out really slow.

Thanks for the advice everyone.
