i needed it to fit here on my Nolan N102 helmet without fouling the flip face .. or getting too much helmet top into the vid shots


also did a similar job for a fairing flat mount sticky pad ...

i always had the Ghost in mind... but liked the versatility bonus of the gopro mounts... plus... GoPro users might see how i hacked into the mounts and shudder just a little... which is entertainment value for me!! 

the missus and kids got me the Ghost for fathers day last weekend!... i would like a Go Pro also... and will evetually probably just buy one... but if i bought the Hero just now... they might think i didnt like their present!! ... which is nonsense because i LOVE IT!! ... but the perception could be there...

then the Missus would get The Face!! ... and ... well.... Armageddon is nice this time of year!! 

i have a few more ideas in mind too... need a few more bits of Drift gear to make it work... at least one idea i havent seen done yet... but i may have missed it .. so many many vlogs out there now!!

I do like what you've done I am a fan of the on helmet view using the drift cameras. Always liked baron Von grumbles, yourpalschrisandal, tastyhamsandwhich. Too bad it's a touring helmet cause when it's all down it'll be sticking up a bit. But hey keep us posted

What be sticking up? ..

I wanted to side mount it .. But that helmet has this odd shaped 'fender bulge' right where I needed to put the sticky pad ...

I'll have another helmet sooner or later and play with that concept then .. 

The camera on its go pro mount when your lid is down.

Doesn't seem to stick up much more than a GoPro camera unit? ... Granted its a tad bigger... But more aerodynamic!

I've seen some hectic sticky uppy rigs last couple weeks!! .. One lad looked like he had a friggin scaffold hangin off!
