What can i do now to the engine and performace mods i can do is there a way i can change the gear ratios so sixth gear gives more power? and what would taing out the counter balancer and balcing the crank do?

The easiest way to achieve that is to exchange your sprockets (not what you want to hear now, I know). That leaves your gears nicely spaced.

I have heard about that being done. Frankly I don't quite see the advantage of such a measure. The counter balancer shaft compensates vibrations that can not be compensated by weights on the crankshaft because they act in a direction peropendicular to the position of the excentric hub.
You can decide that the counterbalancer is needless ballast, and then you have to adjust crankshaft balancing, but what the pwerformence advantage of this is beats me.
Maybe one of the racers can enlighten us on this.

OK, that makes sense. So you trade vibration compensation for a more responsive engine. Because when I first read about this modification it was claimed that the engine vibrates less, something I could not really believe.

ok how many ppl have done this mod and know it to work and what do i need to do to make it work better and would i need to balence the crank or could i just leave it as is.

Balancing the crank wihtout a counterbalancer actually might give you a better balanced engine... cos the damn factory did these things en masse... and if you have a good shop do it, they do 1 motor at a time, and anything done by hand will be better... OK no 2 will be alike, but that's is sorta the point. In the rev range you will run races in... I think the 6-10K range it can be quite good. Outside of that it gets a little rough. However you may have the thing balanced for a lower RPM range... say 3-7K possibly dont know about that. The motor will spin un insanely quick... meaning better acceleration, and on shutting throttle, will engine brake like you stomped on the rear brake. The excess vibes may make things fall/break off sooner and the tires might wear out sooner, but it may be a fun mod for someone that wants the benefits and can put up with the side effects... frankly I want to do it with a lighter flywheel... like 1.2 the weight... I know its going to be pretty much un doable... but I want to try later when I have the motor apart.
Cool.

Falicon here in clearwater Fla charges 210$ +shipping (to and from) for GS, you have to send in crank, rods, pistons w/pins, and rings.  takes about 2 weeks to turn around. i was going to do this myself but home repairs blew that to next year.
Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.

If you are going to race it, it's a great mod along with the flywheel lightening/elimination.  For the street it will make for a very jerky and unsmooth ride.  You have to match the revs while shifting all of the time, and you don't get more power just less rotating mass as jiggersplat pointed out.

i dont even think i would loose the flywheel. the flywheel isnt just for rotating mass, it also acts as a vibration dampener. it absorbes the shock waves produced from each cyl firing off.  i might  "MIGHT" lighten it alittle bit, or even remove the stator to get rid of the parasitic drag of the charging system.
