I made this wood sign with the Suzuki and gs500e lettering. Its 12x8. 3 hangers to hang keys, jacket, hats on it. The back has 2 key slot holes to mount on the wall. This one is pine. Not clear coated yet. Will take a better picture tomorrow.

Unless he is a master woodcrafter, that would have been done with a CAD router

Gonna need more than 3 key hooks though! :icon_lol:

tcmia

Cool. Glad you guys like it. It is it on a small CNC router that i bought used and rebuilt. I actually made it to hang my keys and stuff in the garage.
Addidas, I make you one. Do you want any wording changed or added? More key holders as suggested? Could use the double hooks instead.

I bet adding "West Seattle Bike Cave" somewhere on addidas' sign would be pretty sweet

Sears made a woot router a while back. a few hundred dollars that could do this. even importing pics and doing it that way

The Sears Cnc is the carvewright.  Those were 1600$. For the pictures to work right they need to be tweeked in the software. If they are too grainy the carve comes ou very fuzzy.

I would leave the E off the GS500 though or the other GS's might get jealous

OK, I'll take off the "E".

Maple works really good. It machines very nice. Mahagony has a beautifull color, but is very soft.

ron freeman

Great craftsmanship. I can appreciate a product made by a man imagination and design skill.

tcmia

Thanks.

Here is one without the "E" and rendered in mahogany. I probably run this one on the weekend in pine to see how it looks. I don't have any mahogany.
