I need your help. My mate dropped his 2008 gs f yesterday night in the garage! We were mean to be going for a ride this weekend but now needs two mirrors clutch and break leavers....anybody know a wreck in brisbane which may have some gs parts....

You can try Albion Motorcycles but he's not cheap and can be a bit of a prick.

Otherwise Tiaro motorcycle wreckers and get him to courier or express post if he has them.

Otherwise you can try www.mickhone.com.au for new ones... their prices are top notch and if they have them in stock you should also be able to get them express posted so you can get going on the weekend 

Pretty sure there's a wrecker on the south side too but don't know the name... Springwood or Slacks Creek perhaps?

He dropped in the garage and somehow broke levers and mirrors on Both sides? How does that happen with a drop in your own garage?

It was on the side stand in the carport...don't know what happend. We came out in the morning, my bike was was still on her side stand. But his had fallen and just was all buggered up. Slight hill. Maybe she rolled off it???
I left mine in gear. Don't know about him though.

Maybe some drunken fool wandering by decided to try sampling it... dropped it in drunken stupidity and fled off into the night...

Hi I am about to buy a 2001 gs500 and I am wondering how I find out whether it is an 'e'  model. Next to the seat it says gs500.for insurance purposes

Technically it's an e but the insurance company should have a listing just for gs500

errr... easiest is.... does it have front/side fairings and triangular headlight?... if yes = F model ...

if round headlight and even anaftermarket bikini fairing or something .. then its an E .. ?

just looked at my Aussie rego papers... mentions nothing about E or F .. says GS5004A ... 

Yeah the 'e' models are the nakeds but I thought post  2000ish they dropped the e and just did gs500?  give them the year and they should have it on the screen in front of them.

hang on... another rant ... this one is going in RANT of the day ...

I finally got my bike, after many months of waiting for one to show up.

I ended up grabbing a 2000 Suzuki GS500!


Terrible photo!

When I got home after picking it up, I was shaking and panting and sweating furiously. Bit of downtime helped, but now I want to go out again.. O deary me.
