Hi
I'm brand new to forum and this is my 1st post. Awesome forum here btw! :)
Just got my 1st bike a cpl weeks ago and it's unregistered at the moment and haven't had much chance to ride it as I had to travel out to work 2days after I bought it :/
Anyway I'm trying to sort some parts I may need to have it registered while I'm away so it's good to go when I get back.

I need those tiny little light covers that go over the headlight on and indicator on warning lights. I've circle the ones I need on the attached pic. Wld be awesome if someone could sell me a cpl or better yet if anyone has some old ones lying around they don't need to post me them and of course I would pay postage xD I'm in Queensland Australia so even better if ur a local.
Not even sur if I need these for roadworthy but wld look better with them anyhow.
Thanks for ur time.

The blue gets lost a lot because the high beam indicator heats it up (when you run always with the high beam on) and then the plastic & glue get weak and it pops off.

Rare to get them because they are not sold as a separate item. You get them from trashed gauge brackets.

You can put in reds & greens if you are OK with that because the blue is rare. Also put in LEDs for the indicators. Use colored LEDs. Brighter and purer color.

If you were in Seattle I'd say drive over and grab the LEDs and a couple greens. (No spare blues at the moment)
Blue LED under a green cap works OK. The plastic caps are not a perfect color filter.

I did see the post ur referring to on the forum here but assumed it was sold as that guy said he'd buy the whole gauges n surround.. 4 sur if u hear anything lemme know. I appreciate it.

I live on Gold Coast coda. But am currently out west at Miles till end of month for work.  I dunno what these things r worth or exactly how rare they r but I'd b willing to pay around $15 I spose.
Do Either of u know whether these caps r needed for rwc?

codajastal

I would say they are needed? but depends on the guy doing the roady.
You can have the whole surround for that price. I am also on the coast so If you wanna wait till you get home we can meet up otherwise PM me your details and I will post it to you :dunno_black:
