Do you guys think I could put JB weld in to keep any oil from coming out of it?

How deep is the broken stud portion of the bolt in there?

If I were you:

I wouldn't JB weld it. That's probably asking for trouble, plus, I'd assume engine vibration would knock it into cracked pieces since it's mating two plates. But who knows.

1. Remove all case bolts.
2. Mark Ignition pickup location to ignition rotor
3. Remove Ignition rotor (smaller bolt, not the 19mm one)
4. Remove case cover.
5. Easy out the remainder of the broken bolt.
6. New gasket for the clutch cover
7. Replace with new cover bolt for the old broken one.
8. Button everything back up.

And then you don't have to worry about JB weld breaking up in there and maybe leaking oil into your electrics.

Also, make sure you're using the right torque spec from the book. It's easy to overtorque those bolts by hand and snap 'em.

Yeah I just changed the clutch cover gasket and put fresh oil in I was finishing up when I broke this..
