So shes all legal and registered now after a roadworthy inspection...mths of hard work and swearing and learning. GSTwins is a valuable resource to GS owners and very proud to be part of this community and biiiiig thanks to all for the help and suggestions...noticed she was running rich as of late. Raised the jet to the top circlip and its smooth as now and not a mongrel to start due to flooding lolol

Picked up a Motodry Tank bag/carrier yestersday, not bad, $115 large magnets underneath and pretty sturdy.
Looking at it for a small tool, kit, first aid, torch and chain/locks carrier until I can get a box on the back.
Good GPS and phone clear pouch on the top too.

Now....right fork us allowing oil onto the inner tube as it releases up...grrr...how much would a local mech charge approx to do. Or should one tackle it himself...may need some tools to do the job....dunno which way to go.

I'm mid way through the process on mine and it seems easy, but there are parts that involve the assistance of a second person, that's why I'm stuck haha. I recommend having the workshop manual.

Got one of them...looks like yeah a few odd tools required....may have to meet up and sort our delemas out hahah

Could do yeah. One thing you need is a massive allen key, I bought a whole set stupidly bit allen keys just to get that one haha
