so been reading an searching about throttle tubess an i see the 99-02 tube is what yall been saying? diff for my old ass bike? i dont have clip on bars just the normal ones that look like bicycle bars lol.

89-00 is one type - single cable, and 01+ is twin cable.

You can use a katana pre 96 tube as well. Better grip and the throttle tube and grip needs to be a set in that case. You cant put a GS grip on a kat tube and vice versa. Heck, get katana grips left and right with the tube.

i cant seem to find tube and grips for 89-00 i think im dumb? lol all i can seem to find is 04 and up on ebay.

You are better off getting used. The stock is way better. Though the gel grips are great, I think stockers last longer too.

That looks like the right part - thought its labelled wrong. Maybe GSXR after 96 uses that ... I know kat post 96 is same as GS 89-00 ... I dont think its that different for 89-00 vs 01+ ... I have a kat 6 grip (looks like this thing) and a 01 carb rack on my 95.

Get the left one off a mathcing katana ... seriously they are better, aftermarket is crap.

hahaha i found a tube with no grip on it for like 8 dollars shipped so i got that. i might just order some of those leather flappy ones posted haha an maybe this too
