Good morning

I was working on the wiring of front & rear LED after market 12volt lights on my GS, and came across a couple of problems and need HELP.

1. When front & rear LED turn signals were installed all 4 flash at the same time and rate. I found the below thread for this fix, and I'm sure I have to follow the wiring diagram and make the wiring adjustment at the turn signal indicator, correct?

2. While I was wiring I screwed up the turn signal on the GS. When I select LEFT or RIGHT on the turn signal button the turn signal indicator light does not come on, nor do any of the lights nor does the bike make any sound "CLICKs" like it usually would when LEFT or RIGHT is usually on. I found this thread and it states I must have burnt out the turn signal relay TSR. Can some one confirms this could be the issue with the turn signals not turning on at all even the turn signal indicator? (Before I go to buy one at the local motorcycle parts shop)

Note: is there maybe a specific TSR that I should be looking for to buy to handle LED's?

According to CMS website the part # for the new TSR is 21X0D5

Final question,

3. To make a quick fix until the weekend (or have more time) removing the turn signal indicator bulb would fix the problem until I am able to make the wiring adjustments according to the wiring diagram?

Everyone, thank you for your help with my issues!

Hey there not sure if you've fixed this by now but regardless, i literally corrected this exact problem today. Installing the 12V LED turn signals on the rear of the bike caused the Electronic flasher you have pictured (right) to short out. Replacing it with one at my local car shop (ensuring it's a two pin 12volt) allowed all my lights to come on and stay on no flashing. To fix this issue i had to merely replace the rear LED's with the stock bulb turn signals, after this everything functioned normally.

I will be installing LED rear turn signals but will wait until i'm adequately armed with the knowledge to do so. Front LED's work perfect integrated alongside the stock rear lights however so they can remain there.

Good luck and let us know if you've solved the rear light issue

Yes - remove the turn indicator bulb for now.
Don't know why, but your turn flasher relay is unplugged.
And yes - that thread has the diode modification I speak of.
