I'm over here in coastal Delaware, which can be considered a suburb of DC this time of year  

Currently in State College, but with many ties to the Baltimore/DC area.  Friends in Baltimore, York, Frederick, and family in Alexandria.  I'm down that way pretty frequently.  

I will be back in DC soon, but most likely without a bike.

so how about "VADCMD GS Riders" or "Beltway Gs500ers" as a tag line in our custom made T-shirts (never mind T-shirts) or [definetely] jackets, something to wear everytime its ride time on a Saturday/Sunday/Friday ride?

my buddy and I just bought gs500f's.  we live in va. beach

we are noobies.  still trying to learn how to ride etc.  don't even have permits yet,  

but yeah, we live in va.

Hopefully buying a used GS this weekend.  Once I learn how to ride without either killing myself or pissing my pants everytime I see a car, I'd be up for riding with you guys.

Good call... be about a month till i could meet up, but sounds good.  Just post date/time.  My Saturdays are usually free.

why not just meet up at the barnes & nobles in rockville with all the other biker hooligans on thursday nights?  we can show off our sweet rides.  you know those r1 and cbr1000rr guys wish they had a gs500.
