hi i am just wondering what year coils are compatible with the 92 gs500 could i use just as example 07 coils does it matter please help thank you

I don't know for sure but what you can do in the mean time is compare part numbers

u can use just about any single cyl coils, just need 2 of them. on the GS pay attention to the primary coil winding wires the -neg side are diff colors, the +pos side are the same.   mounting would be a puzzle depending on type of coil. 

All GS500 coils will work. There are different part numbers because some have a 45* angle on the plug cap and some have 90*.
Do use a pair of the same type just in case something is different in the cap resistor.
