Anyone know if JeffD is still making his?
For reference BLue, one of the board members (JeffD) has in the past been generous enough to manufacture and sell LED light board for the GS.  I have them and love 'em.

You might want to check the local rules before buying, as blue lights aren't legal in most places unless you're a cop.

If you're just putting them in place of the gauge backlights, you might also consider that blue light is somewhat hard to distinguish, and may make the gauges harder to read.

Thanks for the feedback.  So, what should I be looking for.....by them each separately or buy them in sets?

bluedevil what are you tryin to do with them? put them in the tach/speedo or use them as accent lighting? That could make a difference in how you buy them. It seems people that do the L.E.D. gauge mod wired up 2 L.E.D.'s to replace one bulb.

If you are looking for accent lighting or taillights just go to an auto parts store and they will have them as a set.

I understand that the single led bulbs are not very bright, but I purchased the WLED-6 led bulbs from superbright and they are fine.  Price was $2.99 each plus $5 shipping.

Check out www.eled.com

The ones I used for my taillight were red,  4000mcd leds.  I also put 2 in each of my speedo/tach  (look at http://electrovw.tripod.com under gauges)  Cost was ~ 40-50 cents apiece.    the more you buy the cheaper they are.

Looks pretty good to me.  I finally got a hold of some from a friend of mine.  He gave me about 4 to 5 strands of blue LED's....can't wait to put them on!
