Found this. They have US distributors.

Good ones also available made by Givi

Alan_nc

Thanks that looks pretty good.

I'll have to look around on the net and see if I can find a picture.

go MY BIKE then select GS500E or F and see the instructions.
You will find them on ebay.co.uk also
Search there for GS500 carrier

From what I have seen I would sure like to find one of the original ones from Suzuki

Waiting to see if it shows up. I ordered one from (I think) France.

Out of curiosity, were you charged yet?

I don't see a charge yet.
I sent a message asking about the status of the order.
It has been 2 weeks.

adidasguy

Order cancelled. Not available.

I'm sure that doesn't surprise you, considering how rare it is to even see one on fleabay.

A couple of months ago somebody posted a sale item on here and i bought it not knowing if it was oem or not. Fits pretty good.  You have to take the rear handle off to install it. It is powder coated steel.

I have not have much time to visit the board. Been working part time nights after now too.

If anyone is looking for Racks (Top or Side) for the Suzuki GS500 E or F, I just found these from Fehling (Germany). (They also make an Engine Guard for the GS500E). A quick email to them and I got a quote for shipping from their factory of roughly 116 Euros for the Top Rack, and 147 Euros for the Side Racks plus shipping (to the USA that was about another 40 Euros).

Here's the link to their Suzuki catalog page with current prices:

I don't have a photo, but here's a diagram I "borrowed" and annotated from one of their Czech vendor's websites. You may be able to find an existing distributor for them in your country.
