It's an exacto knife handle that's been flattened and ground down into a 3 prong fork and only you know what it's for.

perhaps some type of wood chisel?

Are they used to pop wires out of the plastic connectors?

I think you misunderstood cyamaura... the whiteout tape is not the object we are guessing on Janx's pic.  The whiteout tape is only there for a size reference of that actual object to guess on the left.
