Don't go wider than stock unless you have to. 140s are enough to get your elbow on the deck. Wider just increases rotating mass, and pinches the tire.

Sport Demons are Sport Touring Bias Ply tires that have been around forever. They are available in stock sizes for the GS500.

The Rosso 2s are sport/trackday radials, on par or superior to the 003RS. Pirelli makes a racing front that fits the stock GS rim, and compliments the Rosso 2 rear nicely.

that is true but a lower profile 150 isn't that band and looks way better than stock imho. from what it used to be a lot of race tires are made a min of 150. you can always get a katana rim and use a 150 and it will look good also.
