Never mind dodging people on the highway running 65mph. Never mind avoiding debris in the road or animals running out in front of you. Or my favorite, some jackass in a car wanting to play chicken on a two lane blacktop. I come home after taking off the garbage to my wife telling me just backed into my bike that "parked" behind the driver's side of her car and a good 10'behind it. I just got it out after it was in hibernation for 4 months and this is what happens. This is going to be one hell of season.

On a more serious note: that really sucks; it's about as bad as backing out through a closed garage door

And I guess your car insurance won't be too happy paying for your bike

Oh no, it happened but I've never been successful at uploading pics to this site, they're always to big. You said it Cookie. I didn't say a word, just started my bike, pulled back into the basement and went to work on it. Yes I was ticked but didn't say anything, just went to work on repairs or patching it.

this is one of my biggest fears. I squish my bike at the end of the garage leaving plenty of space for her compact car. She hasn't hit it yet, but i feel that she might.. gut wrenchin

hang a tennis ball from the roof where it hits the window in front of the driver to let her know shes in the shed far enough ,thats what i did for the wife after her mother drove through the end of there shed .its worked for thirty years so far FINGERS CROSSED

Hummmm....

Was there something way way back in her mind that she wanted to get rid of that $%^& motorcycle?

+1 to the tennis ball. That's what my wife and I do and haven't had a problem. Also, I like to put something soft / disposable in between a car and bike (like a big cardboard box). That way, there's a crunching sound before any real damage occurs.
