it's getting close to riding time!!! :)

i'm so psyched.

so i'm contemplating buying this headlight.

wondering if anyone has any experience with something similar or any words of advice on this particular light?

i'm fairly handy with small projects like this so i don't think it would be an issue.

also, i've got a headlight fairing on my GS. Wondering if that will pose a problem.

thanks as always!

Reflector is NOT as good as genuine Suzuki headlght(and that's not saying much).......Chinese clone gives a less defined/more disbursed pattern.
Looks good but that's about it.

any other alternatives that would give better light dispersion? i'm not too worried because i ride in the city mostly but i would like to be seen as much as possible.

i'm desperate for attention :)

a pair of projector beam foglights work well, mount both with one wired to high beam aimed just a couple degrees higher.   I had 2 different kinds, one was a shorter wider reflector focal point (lowbeam) the light was wide but didnt reach far. the other was a narrower beam that i used as highbeam reach farther ahead.

I am liking what Blueknyt described. Going to look into it. I have seen addidasguy's mounted low on his front forks. Should help to be seen for sure.

Any issue with tapping into high beam circuit?

Good little bit on getting a clear headlight from a SV650, bandit ,or honda 919 with instructions. Hope this helps somewhat.

on the headlight plug there are 3 wires, lowbeam, ground, highbeam.  tie in both grounds, one to low beam, one to high beam

I would like to add, i used spade crimp connectors and just pluged the wires into the headlilght socket plug. this way i didnt have to cut wires or modify the stock plug
