What is your next bike gonna be or are you sticking with the GS?

I want a cruiser style but I'll probably keep the GS for quick fun trips.

The current top choice for me is Vulcan 2000

I'm not so excited about the huge V-twin.  I just think the styling of it looks really cool.

What is you choice?

I'm going with a 98' or newer VTR 1000 Super Hawk/Firestorm(hopefully more like a Red 00'  :) ).  Gonna throw on a two brothers exhaust and make everyone jealous as I rev it.  I'm also kind of considering a TL-1000 or even a Triumph 955i.  I really want a v-twin b/c I'm in love with the high reving v-twin sound.  I am going closer to a liter bike b/c I really want strong mid-range power and my sportbike club likes to go a little fast in moderation  ;) .

I'd really like to try out a Buell...any one of 'em. Looks like a lot could be done with a Blast that would really be unique.

CBR600rr like Pantablo's, or a 600 ninja which grows on me more each day. Since I ride my GS just about everyday after work to relax 30-50mi depending on my mood, I think when the times right a supersport is where I'm headed. Although a sport tourer is an option I'm consisdering as well.

pantablo

this one.

wait...I already got it.

R6... I hope. But definitely an I-4 sport bike... oh yeah, with a fairing. I'm not a fan of naked bikes.

i love naked bikes when i'm cruising around a back road at a normal pace on a nice sunny day, but when i'm stuck in a downpour, or its 40 degrees, or when everyone else is going 135 and tucked in, and i'm going 135 and having the front of my helmet blown down my throat, i'm somewhat convinced my next bike should have a windshield, a nice big windshield, i love the look of the tlrs, but i think i wanna stick to 600s, see how it goes, i love the 600rrs, but only if i still have my speed four as a normal bike, and the 600rr, to be my backroads bike, otherwise probably a gsxr

I have two that I MUST test ride....

i would really get an R6, ninja 636, 600rr, f4i, or gsxr600 if i could afford the insurance but most likely a yzf600r or zzr600.  Priorities are my fiance and surviving boot camp 4 now but my next bike must be comfortable for 2, have a full fairing, liquid cooled, and preferably i4 but a vtwin would be nice as well.

Firstly, pantablo you suck ... Here I am stuck with a streetfighter that looks like it lost in the fight and you have a brand spanking new RR  :x J/k you lucky #$%$%    Hope you have fun on it ...

Anyways as soon as I save up enough cash I will be gettin either a CBR600(F2, F3 or F4 whichever falls in my budget) or an SV650 ... I want the Speed Four but I am fairly certain that the bike is out of my budget ...

I can buy a wicked SV650 right now but that would mean no school for me next semester. What do ya guys think? School .... or a Motorcycle ?

Just got my next bike and I've gone "retro".   Actually, it's like the GS500 in a lot of ways.  Twin cylinder and decent riding position, handles good.  Painted black.

Things that are different: heavier (450 lb dry), steers slower (more work in the slower twisties), better power at low RPMs, nicer seat, more room (for me), no centerstand or tach! ($700 options!), no lockable seat or helmet lock. Sounds better.

The only mods so far is that I changed the pipes to a set of "TORs"  (Triumph off road), rejetted and also plugged the air injection.  These are all items from Triumph, not aftermarket. Now it even sounds like a triumph.

Triumph Bonneville.  780cc. 2 cylinder. (360 dg crank!), With the pipes, they claim about 68 hp.  Nice and torquey.

The speed four is only a few hundred dollars more MSRP and they really want to move them since the sv sells so much better. You'll likely get a better price on a triumph S4.

Thanks Laura. Thats my usual friday and sunday route-Angeles Crest Highway. We were 'warming up' on the bottom part in that shot, at about 70mph.

Well I want a new Shadow Aero. Saw it in a shop yesterday. Sat on it. Fell in love with it. Perfect fit for me. If not that, then some other Honda Shadow cruiser. I love the Shadows.
