I'm in desperate need of New dust seals. One looks fine but the other looks horrible. Can someone explain the process of what I need to do to get to them or a process that could keep a newbie like myself from having to disassemble my forks since I have no idea what I'm doing

Dust seals: remove the fork. Pry off the dust seal and slip on a new one.
Dust seals just sit on top and are pressed in gently.

Newbie, are you sure you just need to do the dust seals?
If there's any sign of oil leakage you'd need to do the oil seals. (personally I've never seen a bike that needs only dust seals but not oil seals).
Beam me up Scottie....

They are both crap, but I've seen them dust seals crack ... but Oil seals actually need wear on the stanchion tube or well, they can crack too ... Oil seals are kept soft by the oil itself ... dust seals are not.
Cool.

I'm gonna take a picture of my cracked on and I'm 101% sure it needs replacing
