Hi Guys, i'm new rider and newish bike. It has after market indicator lights in front. Problem is  left side front and back blink faster than the other side. is this a wiring problem / short or a bulb or flasher unit like i had a problem years ago on a car. Help please

You state bulb but just to be 100% sure are they actually bulbs or are they LEDs?  And if I read it correctly it has aftermarket on front and stock signals on the rear? Has it been doing this since you got it or did it start recently and use to work?

My guess is either there is a burned out bulb on the left or one of the bulbs has been replaced with an LED.    If one ore more bulbs have been replaced with LEDs, then a variable load (LED compatible) flasher relay should solve the problem.

thank you fraze11 and radodrill for replying. My bike has been in my garage since i had it towed here 3 weeks ago. I only started it up a few times and the warm weekend we just had been in M2 school in Mississauga through Humber College, was great for me. It went to safety last week and passes. I only noticed it a few days ago and it has been on the road today for first time. My son road it, 2 sons and me went to the M2 course. So I have not opened anything up yet. the wiring is a little poor and the male female connections were coming loose behind the fairing when turning the handle bars. I pushed them back in and tied them off to the side of the fairing. So i will open the turn signals all round tm and see if there is anything different in them

So if all the bulbs are the same it will work ? or do those little after market lights have incompatible bulbs for the flasher unit. My thoughts are "why one side only" but like i said i have not opened up to see what bulbs are in there

If it's only one side I doubt that your using LEDs, what ever side is blinking faster usually has a burnt out bulb

ditto; as long as both pairs (front and rear) are the same, both sides should flash the same rate.  If one pair is LED, they may flash faster than normal, but still the same on each side.
