So, I get a spiffy set of low rise aluminum handlebars from LSL (Spiegler).  Unfortunately, the Lockhart bar ends I just bought for it won't fit  The wall thickness of the aluminum bars is too thick for the rubber stopper bar end!   Any suggestions that do not require welding?  Thanks

i think on that lsl website they sold bar ends for their aluminum bars. I think also on the lockhart page they had universal bar ends with different size rubber shafts.

Do you need to get rid of the ones that won't fit?  My 2001 GS didn't come with bar ends and I just switched to SM 2 bars and now I need bar ends.  I don't know why, but there is more vibration in the SM bars than my stock bars.
