I checked 6 pages of trip meter topics before posting this I promise!

I didn't really noticed this until yesterday when I decided to use it for the first time, my trip meter will roll all the black numbers while slowly rolling the white digit.

To try and give you a mental picture, you know when you would normally go to reset it and you roll the black knob and that would turn all the digits back to zero and you see them go in threes? Such as the ones 111 than twos 222 than threes 333 etc... Well will riding, thats all mine will do.

Has anyone seen this before, if so, any possible solution?

I am guessing this isn't normal...
