This bike is still as sekc as all hell man... Great job.

Some suggestions if I may say, rim tape, aftermarket pegs, SS colored lines etc etc? Even though it doesnt need em I think it would look awesome.

Thanks for the compliments
LOL rim tape... i tried that a view weeks ago, i bought a set in blue with a applicator.... what a horrible job, i started over 2 or three times but everytime i had 1 or more wrinkles so i stopped.
Pegs are in the pipeline, a friend of mine is going to make them for me.

Bravo.

Thanks  :thumb:

Today i cleaned the carbs, now it's running fine, so i only have to wait for the "chain protector" thing , the new chain to be mounted and nice weather of course  :D

Janx101

Get the curved rim tape ... The straight stuff is just punishment!!

Lol now i know... Sadly i learned the hard way.

The last parts...

I hope to make a test drive this weekend.

Good news:
This weekend i finaly had the chance to make a testdrive on the bike  :woohoo:
I drove for i think half an hour and everything went well.
It just needs a small adjustment of the gas and clutch cable and some fine tuning of the carbs.

He people, is has been a view weeks since the last update, but yesterday i bought some new goodies for me and the bike:  :woohoo:

I hope this week i can find a Little time to install the brake lines.  I have been pretty busy for the last weeks :-(. Altough i had the time to male a descent test drive on the Gs and i am relay surprised about the improvement in performance. Mounting the smaller front sprocket and the dynojet stage3 kit relay makes a lot of difference.

Yesterday i got a Contour camera from a friend of mine  :woohoo:
So i made 2 short movies for you guys :)

1: Walk around the bike:
http://youtu.be/oFajWk5jk_s

2: A really really short ride with the sound wile accelerating:
http://youtu.be/NwaorMpBdUY

The only problem i had was with wind noise, this time i "fixed" it with a tape and a piece of fabric.
How do you guys coop with wind noise in the camera mic.

Golly

Looooove this bike so much

Thanks, those were barracuda mirrors :)

Tape a cotton ball over the mic hole. On most cameras it's just hole in the casing somewhere.

Your bike was my inspiration. I wish I knew how to fabricate metal like that!

Also I need to get a small windscreen like yours. Very cool

Ride with the people you love in mind.

I'll never forget ya Patrick!

Can you edit your post to have the modifications on the first post? I had to scroll down quite far to find them.

Also I love your windscreen. " Ducati Monster fairing". Can you post the exact model? Part number?

I had an idea the other day. Have you seen the Suzuki M50 headlight housing. I was going to start working with Patrick on that but he passed away. I think this headlight would look great on our type of bike. Not sure if you like it though.

I have been thinking about putting all update's in the openings post, but that wouldn't make it a real project topic in my eyes.
This way you follow the project a bit more, questions and reactions are now more in perspective of the way the bike is build.

I like the original idea for your headlight, but I'm planning to mount a LSL MT03 headlight in the future.

I do not have a lot of information about my windscreen, but i know that it came from a 2011 monster.

Instead of the LSL MT03, what about the Suzuki Gladius headlight? A quick ebay search shows that they are a bit cheaper than the MT03's and styled near identical. I think my next bike will be a brand new Gladius lol. Looks like an awesome little bike!
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.
