22 years old, clean driving record.  Any pointers on the best insurance rate in CA.  Trying to get something under $50/month.  Is this even possible?

Thanks
John

well are you a member of the AAA (roadside assistance people)?

I have them and I paid $350/yr full coverage. 36yo, married, clean record, multiple discounts. They base their primiums on engine size so be sure to tell them its 487cc (actual), not 500cc.

$350 is way good...

I'm paying $473 with McGraw (they said they don't give MSF discounts though) but the rate will drop 20% after one year of having a clean record down to about $380 - full coverage - for a GS500.

I got a year of liability through geico for $125. I'm 22 with 1 ticket from 2 1/2 years ago.

I have my car through them too, dunno if it makes a difference.
