Those brat style cafe-bobberts look stupid. They look like some redneck with a welder and a dream cobbled it in his shed ... which he did ...

BTW Having a perimeter frame almost eliminates a Cafe from ever looking right.
The fact that its a bobber prevents it from looking right.

If it wont fit ... you dont make it fit, maybe its not meant to fit.

Cool.

Hey hey now Buddha. To be fair, that bike was done professionally by a bike builder...so be nice...and...that was the one I modeled mine after! Other than the stupid muffler problem, with zero budget it worked out great! At least, I'm happy  :icon_mrgreen:

I think we need to take a collection up for Buddha. ... get him a nice t shirt or tattoo that says "Bobber Cafe Shed Racers RULE!" .... ;)

Soloratov

If you're looking for clean, check these out...
You might be able to implement some bits and bobs into your project

The Buddha

Lovely ... pics from the back, and one from above please of these 2.
Anything looks 1/2 decent from certain angles ... its like agreeing to marry Rosanne Barr after looking at just her fingernails.
Cool.

Buddha...

I think you need to start keeping your opinions to yourself.
We all know by now that you don't like modified GS's.

Do you truly dislike modded bikes? Is it that you don't have the means to mod your own two wheeler (if you even have a runner) or are you just a bitter old (jealous) git?
To be honest I don't care...
I always say: everyone to their own as long as they don't hurt others (maybe I should be called Buddha)

Luckily we all have different tastes, otherwise the world would be a boring place to live...

Wicked.

[PS. What's your best angle Buddha? I bet the back of your head looks great...]

Dude this is your reference point for a bike looking "right" ???
Pic from above and straight back 3ft from the tail light ... And compare it to a true cafe - like say a Honda GB500.
Fine bikes have got fatter. But the motor being behind a perimeter frame isn't keeping with the time either. Is the motor was fat making it fat in front it passes with a little chronological twist ...

As in, I can accept Charleston Heston as Jesus christ, but I'd really prefer he not be wearing ear buds connected to an Ipod nano on his sleeve.

I dont mind modded bikes 1 bit ... I like lots of em, and I mod em by the dozen ...
Just that these look off to me.
So do those Idiotic Bobbers the hacks around here do ...

I have a factory made Cafe wanna be with a perimeter frame and while the frame is still narrower than a GS and the motor is even narrower ... that bike still looks off to me ... and its from the factory that way.

Cool.
