Signal generator hole cover options

Why, exactly, would Zuki engineers decide to make the generator cover with a hole in the middle covered by a metal sticker? I could understand if the hole provided easy access for valve adjustments, but I don't think it's big enough. Plus you have to try and peel and re-stick a metal sticker.

Nevertheless, I lost my sticker. Now I hear noise from the generator I don't feel like listening to, and I generally don't like it being exposed.

Therefore I am soliciting ideas for utterly cheap, simple and otherwise utterly ridiculous items to and methods for choosing said opening.

For example: a baby pacifier, the ring from a Ring Pop, a dry corn cob, kryptonite, etc.

Points awarded for creativity, volatility, viability, non-viability, classic simplicity and wanton garishness.

Photos are welcome and appreciated.

Cut a hole in the middle finger of your glove and hold it over the hole. You can plug the hole and flip people off at the same time.

Or, you could use the tail of a small bunny plushie. Show those ricers that you're down to race.

I have another idea, but it's inappropriate and would be rather uncomfortable. And I'm not taking pics of it lol.

Hmmm....I see some merit there...

Well, you can buy a custom made one...... I think Reload makes them?

Or if you're cheap.....look on eBay for a cover from a GS450. It is solid and I'm 99% sure it will fit a GS500. Unless the bolt on the end of the crank sticks out further on the 500 - I know a 500 cover fits a 450.

Now that the logical solution was put out there......

I vote for welding a little spiked spinner on the end of the crank......Mad Max style.

Duct tape

I took this one step further. I put the tape on the inside of the cover and used a black Sharpe to color the exposed adhesive showing.

$13. And devoid of fun. And annoying to put on. And likely to come back off.
