Damn you sure thats safe? id really hate to see what would happen if that tail shifted whilst you were going down the road. or is this just a very rough mock up to get an idea of what bracing, and such may be needed to get it to be 100% secure.

it has m10 bolts on with spring washers to keep tension tight, and then it's going for alumisteel welding to ensure everything stays together haha

I think even bolted it would be ok.  Looks big though,.... :icon_neutral:

most people though it looked big via pics haha when they see it in real life they said its not too bad

Finished painting for now anyway ;), just waiting on those silly postmen haha
the paint i used was:
2 coats Primer, 2 coats red undercoat, 2 coats Sapphire black (475), 3 coats lacquer

i have the old engine out and ready to be placed into the GS-XR, the front end is on, just needs a new battery, tail light, swingarm, rear wheel, and a couple minor parts, but hopefull should be about 70% there by next sunday, will post some pictures of the project so far tomorrow after work.

And I do I love her, as they say each to there own :) just waiting for my new parts now : starter relay, battery, tail light, headlight and digital clocks Koso rx-1n

I always thought that the GSXR rear end looked funny on the GS, like it was too big. However, I think it looks good from behind and from the front/top. Not a huge fan of the side view, but it doesnt look bad at all from the front/top.
Regardless of what I think, thumbs up on the build so far!

okay guys i need your help, i got the battery and starter relay in, i turn over the bike and it fires up, but only sounds like its from one side, the other side will kick in every now and then, but if i introduce choke or throttle it backfires through the carbs and blows them off in the process, whats happening?
